Acquisition and Assistance Assistant USAID Zambia

The Acquisition and Assistance Assistant provides Acquisition and Assistance (A&A) support to Technical Offices and Development Objective (DO) Teams in the Mission, and in any Offices that may be supported by the Mission. The primary purpose of this position is to support the Supervisory Contracting/Agreement Officer (Office Director) and wider OAA, by performing a variety of A&A duties including performing all administrative functions for OAA, maintaining communications with the Mission’s implementing partners (IPs), maintaining up-to-date A&A files and records, managing Contractor Performance Assessment Reports (CPARs), serving as a system subject matter expert for the Global Acquisition and Assistance System (GLAAS), and performing award closeout. The Specialist provides guidance to supported Teams related to A&A award modifications. The Assistant is responsible for carrying out day-to-day activities under the mentorship of more senior Office employees.
