Position: Business Development Manager- Internship (Based in Mongu)
Reporting To: Chief Executive Officer
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to expand the company’s market presence and increase revenue.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with potential clients, partners, and stakeholders to drive business growth and opportunities.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Lead negotiations and contract discussions with clients and partners to secure favorable terms and agreements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop innovative product offerings and marketing strategies to meet customer demands.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, market dynamics, and industry trends to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Prepare and present regular reports, forecasts, and insights to senior management to inform decision-making and strategy development.
Professional Skills and Qualifications:
- Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Proven track record of at least 3 years in business development or sales roles within the FMCG industry.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and strategic planning abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with market research techniques and data analysis tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
