The company now seeks the services of highly motivated, qualified, and experienced individuals for its new Gypsum manufacturing plant located in Ndola’s Heavy Industrial Area. Applications are invited for multiple positions as shown below.
RE-ADVERTISED – MULTIPLE POSITIONS (16)
1. Reaction Tank & Boiler Operator (4)
Making of slurry of required density, monitor the feed to the reaction tanks and physically monitor process parameters such as pH in the reaction tanks using standard process equipment. Able to safely operate an industrial boiler and water softener plant to ensure quality steam is produced for the process. Reports to Process Controller.
2. Mobile Plant Operators (4)
Able to safely operate a Front End Loader. Other equipment like, Forklift, and crane would be an added advantage. Must already possess license for any one or more of these. Reports to process Controller.
3. Press Filter Operators (4)
Able to safely operate a Press Filter to separate liquid from solid from a slurry to produce a relatively dry cake and a clear solution. Must be able to open the plates and discharge the cake. Able to clean the plates with high pressure washer machine. Reports to Process Controller
4. Press filter Attendants (4)
Supporting the Filter Operators in the Separation of liquid from solid from a slurry to produce a relatively dry cake and a clear solution. Must be able to effectively wash the plates with high pressure washer machine after cake discharge. Must be able to maintain good house keeping around the Press Filter. Reports to the Press Filter Operator.
Qualifications, Minimum Skills, and Experience required:
- Grade 12 school certificate
- At least 3 years’ industry experience in desired field
- Must have necessary certification in the desired field.
- Emotionally mature and good interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in physically demanding environment
