FUNCTION Marketing

LOCATION Zambia, Lusaka (Flexible)

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

The role is responsible for developing and driving territory specific volume and profit objectives for each trade channel of the business by the execution of strategic plans, sales goals achievement, ensuring exceptional customer service to existing & potential clients through the most effective and efficient utilisation of budgets

Reports to Area Manager

Geographic Scope Zambia

What You Will Be Accountable For

• Territory implementation of a trade marketing & distribution strategy that meets objectives set for consumer and customer segments
• Integration of market, consumer and customer insights in the territory, facilitating the formulation of the marketing strategy
• Achievement of end market business strategies in the territory assigned
• Implementation of global initiatives in the territory assigned.
• Ensure compliance with International Marketing Standards 2, facilitating productivity gains and continuous improvement
• Manage self KPIs and track ongoing results
• Manage allocated budget for all trade marketing activities in the territory
• Identify necessary changes in strategy and priorities during implementation

Essential Experience, Skills And Knowledge

• Education Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Marketing or Business related)
• Experience Maximum 3 years’ experience
• Self-discipline and Self – Motivated.
• Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
• The person needs to be bold and have a positive attitude
• EXCEL knowledge required (intermediate)
• Communication skills on point
