MALZ Executive Lodge -CHIBOMBO have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced and qualified LODGE MANAGER to join their Team

REQUIREMENTS

  • Hospitality related qualifications -Diploma (A Degree added Advantage)
  • A minimum of 3 years in a similar role
  • Extensive experience independently running/ Managing Lodge or Hotel
  • Good general understanding of lodge operations, finance, and staff management.
  • Good computer & financial aptitude. Microsoft Windows environment including Excel and Access
  • Knowledge of various employment laws and practices and employee relations.
  • Ability to practice a high level of confidentiality.
  • Excellent organizational management skills.
  • Good staff motivator skills.
  • Passionate about creating memorable experiences for individuals.
  • Good interpersonal skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Overall Day to Day Management of the Lodge and Staff
  • Relationship building – with – staff, guests, governmental departments, the community, and agents
  • Business efficiencies – cost control, local produce, quality of product
  • Human Resources
  • Product development on guest experience
  • Management of Resources
  • Financial Management.
  • Budget Forecasting
  • Training and Development
  • Health and Safety
  • Development of a superior workforce.
