Public Service Pensions Fund Board

Public Service Pensions Fund Board (PSPFB) is a creation under the Public Service Pensions Act CAP 260 of the Laws of Zambia, mandated to control and administer the Fund in accordance with sound business practices.

PSPFB seeks to recruit an exceptional individual who is outstanding, results oriented and highly motivated to fill the position of Manager – Board Services on a five (5) year fixed term Contract. The candidate must have proven record to work proactively in planning, coordinating and organizing high-level meetings in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

1. PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To provide board secretarial and administrative duties for an efficient and effective operations of the Board of Directors.

2. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

i. Provide high-level support to the Secretary & Chief Executive including diary and travel management

ii. Coordinate and manage communication between senior management, employees, Board, and other key stakeholders.

iii. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on various assignments and undertakings as required.

iv. Maintaining professionalism and strict confidentiality and exercising discretion when interfacing with the business.

v. Collating of various Committee reports and documentations for board review.

3. Person Specifications
a) General Education and Academic Qualifications:

i Grade Twelve (12) Certificate with 5 O Levels or equivalent

ii. Degree in Business Administration, Bachelor of Arts Degree in Public Administration, Degree in Mass Communication, LLB or equivalent.

b) Relevant Job Experience:

Minimum of 5 years work experience in the similar field at Management level

c) Knowledge and skill Requirements:

  • Demonstrable proficiency in written and oral communication
  • Ability to demonstrate good judgment and maintain confidentiality and discretion.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and time management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office package.
  • Ability to work in a team and independently.

4. REMUNERATION

An attractive package will be offered in Salary Scale P 3.
