Social Media Marketing Manager

Job Description

Looking for a Social Media Marketing Executive having 1-3 years of experience who is good with content writing and has hands-on experience with paid social media advertising.

Note: This position will be full-time, on-site (Lusaka Zambia).

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategize, plan and conceptualize creative content campaigns on various social media platforms – Instagram, Facebook, Linkedin, YouTube, Pinterest and Twitter
2. Ideate and shoot and edit day-to-day original content in the form of (but not limited to) photos, graphics, videos and GIFs primarily for the social media channels.
3. Responsible for the Social media calendar and execution of the same
4. Ideating, planning, creating and executing strong events and concepts for high engagement social media campaigns
5. Tracking the conversion-related percentages and numbers to make needed improvements
6. Coordinating with the design team for creative ideas
7. Maintain posting schedules across all the platforms
8. Build creative campaigns for new brand/product launches, webinar and such events
9. Post content for social media platforms as per the schedule.
10. Involved in reporting and digital analytics using tools.

Skills Requirement

1. 1-3 years of relevant experience in content creation, social media organic & paid
2. Up-to-date with the latest trends
3. Proficiency with copy-writing, content-writing, blog-writing
4. Proficiency with various social media platforms – Instagram, Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, Pinterest
5. Should have excellent time management and planning skills and have the ability to adhere to strict schedules and deadlines
6. Self-motivated with strong communication skills
7. Ability to drive initiatives, be creative, innovative and be able to think outside the box
8. Experience and comfort with planning and posting video content will be added advantage
