Merchandiser DGM Beverages Limited

DGM Beverages Limited is Zambia’s number one manufacturer of alcoholic beverages.

Our organization seeks the services of Merchandisers (2) to join a dynamic and proactive team.

The ideal candidates must have 3/4 year of merchandising and/or marketing experience and be able to:

1. Display the DGM Beverages Limited products within stores, ensuring to display the products in an attractive manner for the purpose of driving sales;

2. Be conversant with all the DGM Beverages Limited products and be able to explain confidently to potential clients the product contents;

3. Attend to all client’s complaints or queries and report to management;

4. Maintain an accurate record of inventory levels for all products in store;

5. Ensure inventory levels are maintained within acceptable ranges and make timely orders for replenishment in collaboration with stores and operations;

6. Provide reports to management of performance of product within the store;

7. Ensure only correct stock received as per order;

8. Conduct period stock-take of goods in stores;

9. Set up signs indicating product prices or promotions;

10. Be abreast with competitor activities within the store and report to management;

11. Prepare a monthly inventory and product performance report for management;

12. Observe the provided health and safety guidelines within the work environment;

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Self starter, driver and goal oriented
• Good communication and reporting skills
• Proficient in MS word and excel
• Must have high levels of accountability
• Time management skills
• Integrity

EDUCATION

• Grade 12 certificate
• Certificate in Marketing or similar qualification
• Experience in merchandising is a must
