Sales Manager – Traded Goods – Heroes Commercial Centre Zambeef Products PLC

SALES MANAGER –TRADED GOODS – HEROES COMMERCIAL CENTRE (X1)

The Required Skills for this Role Include:

  • Provide input into the retailing strategy for 3rd party manufactured and traded goods
  • Growing the sales and profitability of the trading goods segments of retailing.
  • Optimizing the basket of traded goods in the outlets.
  • Identifying opportunities to grow and expand the product offering in the retail outlets.
  • Ensuring optimal stock holding to avoid overstocking and prevent any stock outs.
  • Negotiating with third party suppliers on products and prices to maximise returns for the business.
  • Carrying out outlet and region level sales forecasting and target setting and work with the National Retailing Managers in ensuring the outlets achieve the set targets.
  • Providing information and input into the store layout and design to stimulate sales.
  • Providing cover for Regional Sales Managers and carry out periodic outlets audits involving a full outlet stock count, safe cash count and gross Profit calculation.

The Required Qualifications are:

  • Grade 12 certificate with credits or better in 5 subjects.
  • University Degree in marketing or relevant commercial field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience sales, retailing or business development.
  • Good understanding of retail controls.
  • Retailing experience is an added advantage.
