Senior Manager – Treasury Sales – Commercial Bank Brilliance Executive Management Consultancy

Job Purpose
The Senior Manager of Treasury Sales will promote treasury products and provide treasury advisory services to corporate customers. Formulation of the Bank’s Mobilization Strategy with the help of the Head of Treasury Services and designing a fit-for-purpose market and sales implementation roadmap, Take the lead in executing the Treasury Sales business strategy in accordance with the Head of Treasury Sales and Bank Treasury Sales Strategy and Policies & Procedures. Ensure effective cross-sell treasury products by organizing training programs and updating business units on treasury product developments. Work on business units’ referrals and structure tailor-made products /solutions to suit both customers’ hedging and investment needs

 

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

Be responsible for Contributing to the development of business opportunities in collaboration with other key product, service and risk control teams in the bank and enhancement of the customer, treasury service and product offering are the expected deliverables in this role.
Champion treasury roadshow arrangements with targeted institutions;
Managing existing client relationships and constantly tapping new business by effective alignment of client’s needs.
Maintain a high standard of customer service in order to increase Bank’s market shares vis a vis existing customers and enlarge the Corporate base.
Actively market in FX Spot, FX forwards and derivatives to customers and enhance the business turnover and profitability
Monitoring service levels and implementing strategic measures to improve customer satisfaction and overall profitability
Cross-sell treasury products by organizing training programs and updating business units on treasury product developments.
Identify product solutions for client needs, works with the origination function and other partners to obtain product information, pricing, and implementation contacts/process;
Work jointly with the origination function to leverage on the existing continent-wide client base of the Bank
Responsible for knowledge sharing with the wider Treasury Services team and the Bank;
Work with the Strategy & Innovation team to build out additional product offerings;
Establishing Debt and Capital Market Programmes in targeted local markets in Zambia as part of the wider strategy targets to raise local currency funding;
Any Other Duties as assigned by the CEO

Primary Areas of Accountability:
Qualifications and Experience

Degree holder in Business Administration, Finance
Must have a minimum of 6-8 years of experience in Treasury Sales Management
Must have ACI Dealing Certificate
Good knowledge of treasury products, especially structured FX and interest rate products
Excellent Knowledge of Treasury products and Sales Techniques
Must have a very good understanding of treasury back office operations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in both spoken and written English
Proven experience in understanding interest rate risk, foreign exchange risk and credit risk
A member of the Treasury Markets Association is preferred
