Introduction
Our client a multinational company is looking for a Business Development Manager who is responsible for the marketing and sales of integrated food products to prospective and existing customers, to achieve established sales targets.
Duties & Responsibilities
(1)Development of sales strategy specific to the region,
(2)Identification of potential new business
(3)Arrange and conduct meetings with new and existing business prospects, (4)Conduct / arrange site surveys to identify risks and develop an appropriate solution to meet customer needs.
(5)Prepare and submit sales proposals/tenders to prospective customers. (6)Where necessary, prepare and conduct sales presentations.
Finalise contract documentation
(7)Ensure that a customer file is maintained
(8)Preparation and submission of monthly reports
Desired Experience & Qualification
Requirements:
- Grade 12 Certificate
- BA. Qualification in Sales, Marketing, or in any other relevant field
- Master’s Degree an added advantage
- Relevant experience within the Retail and Traditional Sales environment,
- Face to Face Sales experience of at least 2 years
- Experience in FMCGs would be an advantage
