Human Resource Officer

Responsibilities
Reporting to Head of People and Culture Zambia
Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
Provide counseling on policies and procedures
Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process
Create and implement effective onboarding plans
Develop training and development programs
Assist in performance management processes
Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues
Maintain employee records (attendance, EEO data etc.) according to policy and legal requirements
Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance
Any other duties assigned to you by your manager
Report to duty station with ease – Position is based in the Chinika Industrial area.
Requirements
Proven working experience as HR Officer or other HR Executive
People-oriented and results-driven
Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics
Knowledge of HR systems and databases
Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
Degree in Human Resources, Public Administration , or related field a must
A minimum of 5 years of work experience in Human Resources.
Member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management a must.
