ACCOUNTS/ADMIN ASSISTANT – KALUNDU DAIRY (1)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Recording of day-to-day financial transactions and ensuring accurate record  keeping
• Preparing and verifying payroll inputs for the general staff and reporting any discrepancies to accounts payroll/HR office
• Assisting in the processing of invoices and GRVs into pastel
• Inputting GRV’s records into the Microsoft Access database for completeness and verification.
• Ensuring accurate and controlled monthly stock takes
• Ensuring that all documents are neatly filled in as per the financial   calendar
• Participating in stock taking and assisting in preparing stock valuation reports
• Attending to managers and supervisors on all administrative issues
• Assisting the HR department and ensuring the efficient processing of personnel-related documents
• Maintaining regular contact with other departments to obtain or convey information
• Assisting in the management of the pastel inventory system

Required Qualifications are:

• Full grade 12 certificate
• Certificate in Accountancy or part-qualified ACCA or ZICA
  Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel and Pastel Accounting system
