Marketing Officer Abaleya Carpooling Limited

We are looking to hire an experienced marketing Officer to help drive company Performance. In this position, you will be involved in developing marketing strategies, implementing marketing plans, developing sales strategies, maintaining customer relations, and creating sales reports.

To ensure success as marketing Officer, you should have strong knowledge of modern marketing techniques, a passion for marketing, and excellent communication skills. Ultimately, a top-notch sales and marketing Officer creates strategies that align with modern consumer trends.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing marketing plans for company products and services.
  • Meet daily, weekly and monthly targets.
  • Develop customer relationships and retain existing accounts.
  • Perform administrative tasks
  • Attending and participating in meetings, events, and exhibitions.
  • Conducting market research on rival products.
  • Identifying potential weaknesses and offering improvement suggestions.
  • Reviewing performance against set targets.
  • Design and deliver creative and engaging social media strategies.
  • Manage the day-to-day handling of all social media channels
  • Oversee, plan and deliver content across different platforms using scheduling.
  • Create original and engaging multimedia content across multiple social platforms.
  • Develop, launch and monitor new customer competitions and campaigns.
  • Form key relationships with influencers across social media platforms.
  • Manage and facilitate social media communities.
  • Monitor, track, analyze and report on performance on social media platforms.
  • Identify consumer trends to help with planning social media campaign
  • Optimize content to further encourage community interaction and engagement
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Must have at least a diploma in marketing, a degree is an added advantage.
  • At least 3 years of corporate experience in sales and marketing, experience in transport and logistics is an added advantage.
  • Ability to network and interact with prospective clients.
  •   Experience as a social media manager or a similar role (be specific, and include the number of years of experience).
  • Experience in creating social media strategies.
  • Knowledge of best practices for social media platforms such as Facebook, WhatsApp Business, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram etc.
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients.
  • Strong self-motivation.
  • Ability to work independently but collaboratively, take ownership of tasks, and think strategically.
  • Ability to cope with rejection.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm in fast-paced environments.
  • A professional appearance.
  • Strong track record of achieving and exceeding marketing and sales targets.
  • A passion for education and a strong belief in the power of technology to transform business growth.
  • Proficiency in all MS office software and other sales and marketing tools.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to overcome challenges
