Business Development Manager Augusta Limited

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Business Development Manager position sources opportunities and builds and leads deal and diligence teams to evaluate and negotiate agreements to access promising therapeutic candidates and technologies across different therapeutic areas.

KEY RELATIONSHIPS:
External:

Business partners, manufacturers / suppliers,

Tender authorities,

Customers

Internal:

Marketing Team, Regulatory team

Legal & compliance team,  Logistics,

Finance & Accounts Team, Country Marketing & Sales team, Medical team, Product packaging Team

Critical experience:

At least 2 years of experience in business development or transactional experience with a record of accomplishment in leading and successfully completing complex or high-impact transactions in life sciences, diagnostics, data sciences, or personalized health care.

Proven ability to build and lead teams, drive business decisions, and manage multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Demonstrated understanding of pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, medical device, technology, diagnostic discovery, development, and commercialization processes with the ability to effectively collaborate with R&D leadership.

Good business instincts with fluency in business analytics and valuation methodologies

Skillful presenter of scientific and business information to executives

Proficient in usage of word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software; other software (photo, video, etc.)

Minimum Education:

Advanced degree in life sciences, medicine, pharmacist or bio medical, i.e. an MBA, or equivalent combination of scientific and business education/experience is helpful, such as strategy consulting experience
