Marketing Manager Astro Technology

Description:

As a Marketing Manager at Astro Technology, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our marketing strategy, building brand awareness, and driving business growth. You will lead a team of marketing professionals and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve our marketing objectives. This position requires active membership in the Zambia Institute of Marketing (ZIM) and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of marketing ethics and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Execute Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.

Brand Management: Manage and enhance the company’s brand image and reputation in the market.

Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of marketing professionals, including setting goals, providing guidance, and conducting performance evaluations.

Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive insights to inform marketing strategies.

Campaign Management: Plan and execute marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital marketing, print, events, and social media.

Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget effectively to achieve maximum ROI and cost efficiency.

Content Creation: Oversee the creation of high-quality marketing content, including website content, blog posts, social media content, and promotional materials

Digital Marketing: Drive the company’s online presence and digital marketing efforts, including SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media marketing.

Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics and prepare regular reports to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.

Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and customer support, to ensure alignment of marketing efforts with overall business strategies.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.

2. Membership in the Zambia Institute of Marketing (ZIM) is required.

3. Proven experience 3 in marketing, with a track record of successful marketing campaigns and strategy development.

4. Strong leadership and team management skills.

5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

6. Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.

7. Analytical and data-driven mindset.

8. Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
