Human Resource Manager ConnexAfrica

Role Summary:

The Human Resources Manager will play a pivotal role in steering our company’s success by developing and implementing HR strategies that align with our business objectives. They will lead all aspects of HR operations, focusing on talent acquisition, employee development, performance management, and cultivating a positive company culture. This role reports directly to the executive leadership team.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic HR Planning:
  • Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with company goals and market dynamics.
  • Drive workforce planning initiatives to ensure scalability and efficiency in a fast-growing environment.
  • Analyze industry trends and benchmarks to optimize HR practices.

2.Talent Acquisition and Retention:

  • Oversee full-cycle recruitment processes to attract top talent.
  • Implement retention strategies, including career development plans and recognition programs.
  • Foster an employer brand that attracts diverse, skilled professionals.
  • Train teams, implement a close follow-up of employees and their career development, upskilling

3.Performance Management and Development:

  • Design and manage performance appraisal systems to drive employee growth and productivity.
  • Collaborate with department heads to create personalized development plans for high-potential employees.
  • Implement training programs aligned with business needs and individual career paths.

4.Employee Relations and Culture Development:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and mediator for employee concerns and conflict resolution.
  • Nurture a positive work culture that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Champion initiatives that promote employee well-being and work-life balance.

5.HR Policy Development and Compliance:

  • Develop and revise HR policies and procedures in accordance with changing laws and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations and maintain accurate employee records.
  • Mitigate risks through proactive identification and resolution of HR-related issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Proven experience (3 years) in HR management within the logistics or related industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR principles, labor laws, and best practices.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment and drive change effectively.
