As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Issuing Officer.

Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming goods and verify them against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Ensure accurate recording of all incoming and outgoing materials in the inventory management system.
• Maintain proper storage and organization of materials in the warehouse.
• Prepare materials for dispatch according to delivery schedules and customer orders.
• Coordinate with procurement and production departments to fulfill material requisitions in a timely manner.
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile inventory records with physical stock levels.
• Assist in the implementation of inventory control measures to minimize losses and optimize stock levels.
• Generate reports on inventory movements, stock levels, and discrepancies as required.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines and maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Prior experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or materials handling is preferred.
• Proficiency in computerized inventory management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping.
  Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Forklift operation certification is an advantage but not required.
