Customer Relationship Officer Topseed Zambia Limited

About the Company

Topseed Zambia Limited is a Zambian Agro business company dealing in Marketing and Distribution of seed and other Agro products throughout Zambia. The main objective of Topseed Zambia Limited is to bring to farmers a broad crop portfolio of top-performing seeds, including hybrid maize, sunflower, soya beans, dry beans, grain sorghum, wheat, and forage crops.

Objectives of this role

  • Serve as the main point of contact in all matters related to client concerns and needs
  • Build and strengthen client relationships to achieve long-term partnership
  • Maintain accurate client records, keeping track of any contract updates and renewals
  • Work with sales and other internal teams to develop strategic marketing plans and ensure KPIs are being met
  • Develop a thorough understanding of our products and service offerings to better upsell and cross-sell to clients

Responsibilities:

  • Customer appraisal, KYC and master data maintenance
  • Handle inquiries and requests from customers and address their needs
  • Generating customer invoices, credit notes and statements.
  • Receiving customer payments and appropriate booking to customer accounts.
  • Customer reconciliations and resolution of disputes.
  • Building and maintaining profitable relationships with key customers.
  • Resolving customer complaints quickly and efficiently.
  • Keeping customers updated on the latest products in order to increase sales.
  • Expanding the customer base by upselling and cross-selling.
  • Understanding key customer individual needs and addressing these.
  • Conducting business reviews using CRM programs.
  • Knowing competition and strategizing accordingly.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree or Diploma in a relevant Business field.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft applications.
  • Proficient with Pastel Partner or Pastel evolution.
  • A team player with leadership skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Maintain a positive attitude focused on customer satisfaction.

Location will be Lusaka, However, there will be a lot of travel throughout the Country
