Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting:
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Collaborate with leadership to develop and manage budgets, providing insights and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work culture.
Oversee day-to-day activities, including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll.
Audit and Compliance:
Coordinate external audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Tax Planning and Compliance:
Collaborate with external tax advisors to ensure accurate and timely filing of all tax returns.
Stay current on tax laws and regulations to optimize the organization’s tax position.
Financial Analysis:
Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Provide strategic insights to support executive decision-making.
Process Improvement:
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
Leverage technology to streamline accounting processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
5 years of progressive experience in accounting, with a proven track record of leadership.
Thorough understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
