Business Development Manager – Healthcare Technology Axis Solutions Africa

Our ICT business development team is growing and we will be pleased to be joined by a highly professional business development manager with broad experience in the industry. This roles requires sales, account management, customer needs identification, communication , innovation and decision making skills.

DESCRIPTION OF TASKS/PROCESSES AND OPERATIONS

Preparing daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
Carries out performance reviews with superior every month
Improves skills and knowledge through training and certifications.
Utilise the various tools in the customer relationship management system to capture sales and marketing activities and strictly adhere to them.
Formulate and implement the strategy of the unit together with peers and supervisors
Developing and conducting sales campaigns, as well as marketing and promotional plans
Generate revenue through new sales, cross selling, installations and training.
Provide insights into new product development and innovation for the territory
Analyzing and investigating price, demand and competition activities and taking appropriate action.
Increasing or maintaining positive levels of customer satisfaction by providing impeccable pre and post sales customer support as well as providing important information on the products or services.
Ensuring that the complaints handling procedure is strictly adhered to.
Developing and enhancing the brand of the company.
Representing the company in various conferences, trade fairs, and networking events to attract more clients.
Ensuring compliance and adherence to legal requirements
Developing an annual calendar of events for Axis Solutions Africa and key stakeholders.
Managing relationships with external providers and technology partners (suppliers, vendors).
Utilise the various tools in the customer relationship management system to capture sales and marketing activities and strictly adhere to them.
Utilise the various tools in the customer support system to record tickets, projects and customer complaints.
Carrying out any other duties as delegated by superior.

KEY DECISIONS

Decides on developing business development strategy for the territory

Drafts budget and oversees its implementation.

Decides on types of trainings to be carried out and their frequency

Decides how business development campaigns are conducted, as well as marketing and promotional plans.

Decides on which new markets to venture into.

Decides which new products and value added services to come up with

SUPERVISORY CONTROLS

Receives supervision from the Country Manager through meetings, emails, memos and interaction on a daily basis.

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelors’ degree in Marketing,Business Management/Administration or related discipline.
Master’s degree / MBA will be an added advantage.
IT diplomas or certificates or any business qualification such as Digital Platforms will be an add on.

Experience Required

At least five years of business development in ICT environment.
At least three years supervisory and leading experience.
