The Fresh Foods Supervisor will be responsible for monitoring stock movements, managing inventory levels, ensuring product displays are appealing to customers. implementing promotional activities, completing daily shift tasks such as providing customer service, following all health and safety codes and minimizing food spoilage.

Supervision Of: Fruit & Veg section workers, Butchery section workers
Interacts With; Customers, Team, Management

JOB DESCRIPTION

Liaise with customers
Be actively involved in Demonstrating and promoting Deli sector / HMR products such as So Good range, Sauces, Gravies, Mince and Vegetable dishes, Soups, Desserts, etc.
Demonstrate, sample or explain products, methods, or services to persuade customers to purchase products
Arrange sample stock for sampling and demonstration
Keep areas neat while working and return items to correct locations following demonstrations
Record and report demonstration-related information, such as products made and client response
Sell products being promoted and keep records of sales
Set up and arrange displays or demonstration areas to attract the attention of prospective customers
Suggest specific product purchases to meet customers’ needs

Education Level: Diploma Level
Qualifications: Job related
Software: MS Office
Equipment: Job related
Knowledge Of: Food demonstration and merchandising experience; Product knowledge
Skills To: Supervise staff in the Fruit & Veg and butchery sections
Ability To: Merchandising and sales; Analytical ability
