Hollard Life Assurance Zambia is currently looking for an Innovative, Imaginative, team player and excellent individual who is able to deliver with care and dignity for our customers, Shareholders and for team Hollard to fill the position of Receptionist at the Lusaka Office. The ideal candidate should possess the following qualities:

Personal Characteristics and Competencies

  • Be highly organised and able to complete tasks, proactively and with initiative
  • Excellent Communication skills with an ability to operate in and communicate at all levels in the organisation
  • High standards of honesty and integrity
  • Resilient and ability to work under extreme pressure
  • Willing to accept and implement change and keen to develop and deliver digital initiatives
  • Stay appropriately networked and keep abreast of trends, news, events and deadlines, so that new or enhanced opportunities for business development can be exploited.

Responsibilities

  • Execute front office customer care duties in line with guidelines.
  • Maintain a register for out-going mail and incoming mail on a daily basis.
  • Maintain a register on all queries coming in and develop a tracker to ensure that they are handled within 48 hrs.
  • Assist in customer retention initiatives.
  • Ensure communications to staff members are delivered timely and accurately.
  • Ensure brand visibility and product awareness initiatives are tracked as per the social media calendar, print and radio advertising plan.
  • Utilize Hollard creatives for staff communications for increased engagement wherever possible.
  • Assist in organizing adequate venues and/or travel plans as required.

Required qualifications, Experience & Duration

  • 2-5 years experience in a similar role
  • Certificate in Insurance, Business or equivalent.
  • Appreciation and knowledge of operations of Individual Life business
  • Exposure to corporate social media marketing
  • Excellent IT skills and competent user of Excel, Power Point and MS Office suite
  • Ability to think clearly and assess matters quickly and provide solutions
  • Full Grade 12 certificate.
