Stores Officer Evelyn Hone College of Applied Arts and Commerce

Evelyn Hone College of Applied Arts and Commerce is the largest Technical Education and Vocational Training (TEVET) Institution under the Ministry of Technology and Science. The institution is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the above position:

1.0 FINANCE DEPARTMENT

Main Duties
• Undertakes timely Preparation of inventory records in order to provide stock control
• Undertake effectively receipt, storage and issuing of goods in order to facilitate operations of the College
• Undertake timely reports on the movement of stocks in order to facilitate decision making Provide effectively database of obsolete goods and in order to facilitate decision making
• Carries out stock taking

Minimum Qualifications
• Grade Twelve Certificate
• Diploma in Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) or its Equivalent
• A Degree in Purchasing and Supply will be an added advantage
• At least 2 years work experience in a similar position
• Fully paid up member of the Zambia Institute of Purchasing and Supply
• Ability to demonstrate a high level of understanding of procurement and stores systems preferably Computerized Inventory Management Systems.
• Ability to work with EGP systems
• Demonstrable work experience of at least two years at a supervisory level
• High level of communication skills (both written and spoken)
