AGL Zambia Limited is pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join its Human Resources team at the Lusaka Head Office as Human Resource Administration Officer.

How You Will Impact AGL Zambia Limited.

Under the general supervision of the Human Resource Manager you will be responsible for processing payroll and benefits for AGL Zambia Limited, the following will be your key tasks and responsibilities.

Payroll

  • Collation of Payroll information
  • To regularly update the Company Payroll Data.
  • Month End Recons.

Budgeting

  • Work on and update the ICHOR HR staff forecast and budget.

Leave And Benefit Claims

  • Process all leave and other payments
  • Computation of staff benefits and claims involving NAPSA, Pension and other terminal benefits.
  • Address any queries by staff of any pay/benefit queries.

Statutory Payments

  • Properly follow the Labour Laws of Zambia in ensuring that statutory payments are paid on time such as PAYE, NAPSA, Workers Compensation, Personal Levy, PICZ etc.

Staff Welfare

  • Attend to Staff welfare and Employee benefit in order to maintain harmony in the Company
  • Perform Human Resource functions in accordance with Company Policy and the labour laws of Zambia within the scope of the terms of reference within the group.

What You will Need to Succeed.

  • Atleast 2 years’ experience in HR & /Finance
  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management/Business Administration or any related field
  • A qualification in an Accountancy programme is an added advantage
  • Member of ZIHRM/ZICA
  • Ability to engage with employees.
  • Confidentiality
  • Attention to detail
  • Word and Excel proficiency
  • Analytical in order to work with staff costs
