Job Purpose
The Marketing Officer will overseer of an organization’s marketing campaigns and plays an important role in developing and executing communication concepts and marketing strategies for the company. Increase the market share through retention of existing customers. Providing a service that exceeds Customer expectations and also provide information about the market and the competition.

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and developing marketing campaigns
  • Researching and analyzing data to identify and define audiences
  • Conducting promotional activities
  • Receive applications and proposals from creative companies and magazines
  • Recommend type of promotion and media to use by the sales teams and service departments.
  • Tactfully networking with Competitors
  • Manage all expenses pertaining to functions and retire marketing float
  • Monitor that all marketing activities are towards achieving set marketing Objectives
  • Ordering promotion materials and corporate wear, and ensure all vehicles are branded and our service areas reflect the Corporate brand.
  • Coordinate all marketing activities, outdoor events and take lead on new product launches
  • Monitor, propose and update content of company presence on Social media
  • Organizing and distributing financial and statistical information
  • Overseeing campaigns on social media.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of campaigns
  • Reporting on trends and statistics across all digital media platforms.

Primary Areas of Accountability:

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in Marketing, PR, Communications Science or related
  • Fresh Graduates in Marketing (Degree) are encouraged to apply
  • Must have a minimum of 1 – 3 years of experience strictly in Marketing, Branding and Advertising
  • Working experience with a well-established Outdoor Advertising and Events/PR company will be an added advantage
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good knowledge of market research techniques
  • Thorough knowledge of social media and web analytics
  • Solid understanding of research techniques
  • Must be a member of ZIM
