This position performs outbound research (calls, email, LinkedIn i.e.) to potential customers to promote SPENN Business products and qualify them as sales leads for Sales representatives. This position will require working closely with your other sales team members to ensure the accurate and effective quality of sales. You are an effective communicator, driven, passionate team player, and result-driven.
- Identify prospects that fit the target demographic
- Reach out to potential customers to schedule high-quality leads for sales.
- Possess strong knowledge of SPENN products and services to identify customer needs
- Use product knowledge to showcase the solutions that our company can offer to prospects
- Use database, CRM and other software to track progress
- Meet monthly targets effectively
- Keep abreast and report on best practices market conditions, competitive activities, advertising, and promotional trends.
- Attend training to stay up to date with the specifications of new products and services.
- Perform any other Sales & Marketing related activities depending on company needs.
- Continuously improve through feedback
- Informing management of possible product improvements and changes to ensure that company products meet current market needs.
- Increase the number of SPENN Business sales in Zambia
- Develop strategy, together with the Sales Manager, to target the local market.
- Previous customer service/sales experience in a call center environment preferred.
- Fearless attitude and a hunter mentality
- Knowledge of MS Office
- Familiarity with BRM and CRM practices
- Motivated and target driven
- Fluent in English and Nyanja or Bemba (speaking and writing)
